<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ammunition container capable of preventing the explosion of the container in an emergency when explosives or the like are ignited in the container while maintaining drop-impact strength and airtightness in a normal time. <P>SOLUTION: The ammunition container includes a bottomed cylindrical container body 10, and a lid body 11 closing an opening of the container body 10. A cylinder 10a of the container body 10 is formed to be the cylindrical shape having a connecting part 10b spirally extended by spirally winding a metal long plate and connecting both ends. A long hole 10c extended in an axial direction is formed at the cylinder 10a in such a manner of passing through the inside and outside. The long hole 10c is sealed by a sealing material 20.
