The invention provides a connecting device, a liquid supply mechanism, liquid drop jetting apparatus and a liquid supply method. The connecting device makes assembly and replacement of a head and a liquid container become more easily. A connector (1) is the connecting device used for a connecting head (200) and an assistant ink box (300). The connector (1) has a main flow path (20) and an assistant flow path (30); one end of the main flow path (20) is the connecting portion (21) of the assistant ink box; the other end of the main flow path (20) is a first end connecting portion; one end of the assistant flow path (30) is a second head connecting portion (32) and the other end of the assistant flow path (30) is an opening portion (31) opening to the air. |
