<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage structure which allows a lower space to be widely and effectively used, reduces risk of personal injury from contact with a corner part, and eliminates necessity of substantial reinforcement. <P>SOLUTION: A suspended closet 2 as a storage structure is provided with a box-shaped suspended closet body 2A which is built along a back face wall 11 of a room 1 of a building and includes a lower space 3 open to the room 1 between the floor 15 of the room 1 and the closet body 2A. The closet body 2A includes a side face part 21 to form one side face, from which an overhang part 23 continuously extends downward. The overhang part 23 has an edge tilting downward from the front-side lower end of the side face part 21 to the back face wall 11 of the room 1.
