摘要 The present invention provides a method for producing a zeolite molded article having an excellent mechanical strength. The method for producing a zeolite molded article according to the present invention comprises the following steps (1) to (5) : (1) subjecting a mixture containing a silicon compound, water, and a quaternary ammonium hydroxide to a hydrothermal synthesis reaction; (2) filtering the reaction mixture containing crystals obtained in the step (1) to separate it into a concentrate containing crystals and a filtrate; (3) washing the concentrate containing crystals obtained in the step (2) with water until the pH at 25°C of the washed solution obtained by washing becomes 8.5 to 9.5; (4) molding the crystals obtained in the step (3); and (5) calcining the molded article obtained in the step (4). By using as a catalyst the zeolite molded article produced by such a method, µ-caprolactam is produced by Beckmann rearrangement reaction of cyclohexanone oxime in a gaseous phase.
