<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a process cartridge that prevents the occurrence of a problem in which: when a plurality of helical gears are used as gears for respectively performing drive transmission from an image carrier to a plurality of driven rotating bodies, a direction in which the image carrier makes a thrust movement in a rotary shaft direction cannot be determined because of a force acting on the plurality of helical gears; and an image forming apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: A process cartridge is provided with an image carrier 11 that rotates in a predetermined direction by a driving force transmitted from an image forming apparatus body 115, and a plurality of driven rotating bodies 12 and 16a that are driven to rotate in a predetermined direction by a driving force respectively transmitted from the image carrier 11.
