Method for producing an insulating system with a device for forming a temporary fire-protection

The method involves fastening insulating units at an installation-side substrate in layers. A covering (3) i.e. heat shield, is attached for formation of a temporary fire protection device (2) during manufacture of a damming system, where the covering covers insulating units and a portion of an insulating layer (1). The covering is made of non-combustible or flame-resistant material, in particular in form of a fabric, a knitted fabric, a braided fabric, a non-woven fabric or a film. A material e.g. glass fibers and/or basalt fibers, is used, for formation of the covering. An independent claim is also included for an insulating layer.
