Provided are a display device and a control method thereof capable of automatically changing curvature of a display panel during booting. According to an embodiment, the display device comprises: a display module; an input unit configured to receive a user command; a storage unit configured to store a booting sequence; a driving unit configured to change curvature of the display module; and a processor configured to control the driving unit to change the curvature of the display module while booting is performed in accordance with the booting sequence if a power-on command is inputted through the input unit.
