An electrical plug has an arm 14 having a first face and a second face, the first face having a pair of electrical pins 18, 20 extending generally in parallel therefrom, and the second face having first and second electrical contacts (50, Fig 5) connected to the pins, and a chassis (56) which may carry a conductive or dummy earth pin 16. The arm can rotate between a stowed position in which it is generally linearly aligned with the chassis and an operative position in which it is generally perpendicular to the chassis. The first and second electrical contacts are coupled to first and second electrical connectors 73, 92 in the chassis. A cover (11, Fig 1) fits over the chassis. The plug may have wings (12, Fig 1) which partially cover the pins in the stowed position, and may have connections to hold a fuse. Ledges (118, Fig 15) may place limits on how far the arm can rotate, and the chassis may be in two parts (203a, 203b, Fig 49). A cover (172, Fig 42) may cover the pins of the plug when not in use and also hold a cable. |
