<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition that has an adjustment effect on biological rhythm and is taken as a food and beverage or a medicine, concretely, a composition that promotes rhythm formation which is originally given in the body, has reducing effect on sleepiness, melancholy feeling and weariness and is taken as a food and beverage or a medicine. <P>SOLUTION: The composition containing ginger or its extract and L-carnitine has a significantly high adjustment effect on biological rhythm in comparison with a composition individually containing ginger or its extract or individually containing L-carnitine.
