<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyphenol agar conjugate with an insoluble nature which is capable of reducing astringency of polyphenol at the time of oral consumption and exerting full physiology within a living body. <P>SOLUTION: The polyphenol agar conjugate is a precipitate provided by mixing agar with any one polyphenol of grape seed polyphenol, apple polyphenol, green tea polyphenol, tea polyphenol, or oolong tea polyphenol at a compound ratio by weight of agar and polyphenol between 1:1 and 1:30 in an aqueous solution state. It is desirable that the compound ratio by weight of agar and polyphenol is between 1:1 and 1:10 and that the weight-average molecular weight (Mw) of agar is between 20,000 and 1,500,000. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
