PURPOSE:To variously vary the light emission quantity of one piece of flash device, and also, to make the titled system miniature and light in weight, by providing a dimming control means for controlling first and second flash devices. CONSTITUTION:A microcomputer 1, an internal FL device 18 and an external FL device 19 constitute a dimming control means, the first flash device, and the second flash device, respectively. In this state, by a switching means, a direct radiation photographing mode and a bounce photographing mode are switched, and a dimming means controls the first and the second flash devices so that a value of a light quantity ratio for a film surface of light to an object to be photographed is set to obtain a value exceeding '1' and a flash is executed by the second flash device and the first flash device, when the mode is switched to the bounce photographing mode by the switching means. In such a way, in a state that the light quantity to the film surface of the light to the object to be photographed by the second flash device is larger than the light quantity to the film surface of the light to the object to be photographed by the first flash device, bounce photographing can be executed.
