SEE-THROUGH TYPE HEAD MOUNTED DISPLAY

A see-through head-mounted display device according to the present invention comprises: a mounting part for being mounted on a head of a user; a housing installed on the mounting part and placed on a face of the user; a display installed inside the housing and placed perpendicularly to the staring direction of the user; and an optical system placed in the staring direction of the user inside the housing. The optical system includes: one or more aspherical lenses installed at a position adjacent to the display; a beam splitter prism placed in the staring direction of the user; a polarizing film or coating installed between the beam splitter prisms; a reflecting mirror installed on the lower end of the prism; and a polarizing plate film or coating installed between the reflecting mirror and the prism. The see-through head-mounted display device, according to an embodiment of the present invention, can provide a stable and clear image to a user by minimizing a distortion of the image when the image of a micro-display providing a high resolution is projected through the optical system. Also, virtual information and an external image are merged and composite image information is provided to the user as outside view of the user can be secured through the prism.
