PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a white image of desired color together with a color image on a printing medium when printing is performed by using a plurality of color of ink including white color.SOLUTION: A printing apparatus for performing printing by using a plurality of color of ink including white color comprises: a first image forming section for forming a first color image on a printing medium by jetting the ink; and a second image forming section for forming a second image on the printing medium by jetting the ink in such a manner that at least a part of the second image is overlapped with the first image. The second image forming section forms a first section which is at least a part of the overlapped portion of the second image with the first image by using white ink only. The second image forming section forms a second section which is at least a part of the not-overlapped portion of the second image with the first image by using the ink of white color and at least one color ink other than the white color. |
