The present invention relates to an add-on device (11) for a mobile communication device (12, 62) being adapted to transmit a communication signal to another communication device (12, 62) via a distinct signal line (18, 73, 74), and to a system (1, 61) and a method for receiving an alarming signal. In order to allow a better accessibility for the transmission of an alarming signal transmission, the invention suggests that the add-on device (11) comprises a FM radio antenna (22) having a bandwidth including the frequency range of an alarming signal broadcast by a FM radio sender (5), and a FM radio receiver (27) adapted to receive the alarming signal from the FM radio antenna (22). The FM radio receiver (27) is adapted to forward the alarming signal to a user interface (14, 64) of the mobile communication device (12, 62) through a signal connection (15) with the mobile communication device (12,62). |
