The present invention relates to a device and method for duplicating a base station for communications stability in a mobile communications network. Multiple digital units having a C-RAN structure having an end connected with a plurality of RF irradiating units are configured. Adjacent first and second digital units are duplicated and directly connected through an optical fiber cable to transceive an optical signal. Even when a problem occurs in one of the digital units, optical communications may be performed to an evolved packet core (EPC) and the RF irradiating units through the optical fiber cable directly connected between the digital units. According to the device and method for duplicating a base station for communications stability in a mobile communications network, the first and second digital units are duplicated, so an optical signal may be transceived. Accordingly, even when a problem occurs in one of the two, an optical signal may be transmitted through a normal digital unit, so stability and reliability of a communications network are improved.
