PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wet refining method of a nickel oxide ore that allows the use of a base rock as a neutralizer in the neutralization process in the wet refining of the nickel oxide ore.SOLUTION: The wet refining method of the nickel oxide ore include a neutralization process. In the neutralization process, a neutralization residue is obtained by using a base rock as a neutralizer and carrying out the neutralization while adjusting the particle size of the base rock, in which hematite is concentrated in the particles with a smaller size, and the constituents of the nickel oxide ore other than the hematite are concentrated in the particles with larger size. Subsequent to the neutralization process, a wet classification process is provided to classify the neutralization residue. |
