<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a key for electronic music instrument integrally formed with a pattern by injection molding having an enhanced appearance and increased release property from a molding die. <P>SOLUTION: A first upper face portion 11a, which is most visually recognizable and also in tactile, is arranged to have a largest surface roughness. A first front face portion 15a and a second front face portion 15b are arranged to have a surface roughness smaller than the surface roughness of the first upper surface portion 11a. A first left side face portion, a second left side face portion and a right side face portion 14 are arranged to have a surface roughness smaller than that of the first front face portion 15a and the second front face portion 15b. A first rear face portion and a second rear face portion are arranged to have a surface roughness smaller than the surface roughness of the first left side face portion, the second left side face portion and the right side face portion 14.
