PURPOSE:To make a device constitution small-sized and simple and to improve its fixing performance by using capsule toner consisting of an outer shell made of a material which has a relatively high fusion point and is collapsed with pressure and an inner core made of a material with a relative low fusion point. CONSTITUTION:The capsule toner 1 in use is formed of the material which has the relatively high low fusion point as the inner core 2 and the material which has the relatively high fusion point and is thermally stable and collapsed with pressure as the outer shell 3. Therefore, the pressure required to collapse the outer shell 3 and heat required to fuse the inner core 2 are only applied. Consequently, a transfer fixing device which is operated at low pressure and low temperature is usable, and a transfer image which has excellent fixing performance can be obtained by a small-sized, lightweight, and low-energy image recorder. The width of the selection of the material of an image carrier is widened as to pressure resistance and heat resistance. |
