Disclosed is a mortise lock having a function of automatically converting latch bolt direction setting among digital door locks installed on entrances of housing facilities or various business facilities. The mortise lock of the present invention is configured not to require a separate setting assembly during installation by automatically setting a direction of a latch bolt, which maintains a lock status, as a left hand mode and a right hand mode. According to the present invention, a latch bolt stopper is selectively interlocked with two grooves formed on the latch bolt while the latch bolt passes through a striker of a door, and the latch bolt forms a neutral state in the middle of a rotation space when opening and closing the door, so the left and right hand settings are automatically completed, and a firm supporting state can be maintained. Therefore, the present invention facilitates construction work, and prevents the mortise lock from being deformed by external impacts, thereby leading to a longer lifespan. |
