The present invention relates to a conjugated polymer nanoparticle and a production method thereof, wherein the conjugated polymer nanoparticle comprises a conjugated polymer, fatty acids, and an amphipathic polymer. The conjugated polymer nanoparticle of the present invention can be doped in a neutral environment, and thus exhibits high electrical conductivity in the neutral environment such as in vivo. In addition, the nanoparticle has high light absorbance properties in a near infrared region.
