摘要 The present invention relates to a photovoltaic apparatus and a control method thereof, capable of continuously controlling a maximum output point, so that photovoltaic output can be maximized depending on insolation, to output maximum electric power. The present invention may comprise: a photovoltaic panel equipped with a plurality of solar cells; a measurement means which measures time, weather and insolation of the region where the photovoltaic panel is installed; a storage means which uses maximum power point tracking (MPPT) method, which controls the photovoltaic panel, as an algorithm and stores the MPPT method respectively, and a control means which controls the direction of the photovoltaic panel, by continuously applying the maximum power point tracking (MPPT) method stored in the storage means, corresponding to the time measured by the measurement means. The maximum power point tracking may comprise PO (Perturbation and Observation) control method, IC (Incremental Conductance) control method, and CV (Constant Voltage) control method, to output maximum electric power of photovoltaic power generation.
