<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a marker, and a method and a device for detecting a marker that are capable of detecting an object in an image on the basis of a small number, that is 10 or less, of pixels, without making a mistake, in an environment that is diversified and varied widely such as outdoors where an object is illuminated by sunlight. <P>SOLUTION: A marker 10 mounted on a surface of an object 1 has an inner layer 12 made of an irregularly reflecting material and an outer layer 14 made of a circularly polarizing film mounted on an outside of the inner layer. The circularly polarizing film is composed of a linearly polarizing film 14a of an inner side and a quarter wavelength plate 14b of an outer side. The marker irregularly reflects external light 2 and converts the light into circularly-polarized light 3 in a clockwise rotation or a counter-clockwise rotation for emission. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
