The present invention relates to a device to open and close a side gate in a cargo box of a truck and, more specifically, relates to a device to open and close the side gate in a cargo box of a truck configured in a method comprising: a supporting member to support, formed while reinforcing an opening and closing function of a side gate to be applied to a cargo or a wing body truck; a supporting link forming a backing link and a supporting link; a fixation plate to be fixated to a gate formed in the supporting link; and a cover which accommodates a compressive spring and a stationary bar formed on a rear side of the supporting member. Both sides of a center of the supporting link which are disposed between the backing link and the fixation plate are formed as a reinforcing bent part to efficiently withstand an external force. A fixation pin to fixate the backing link and an operating lever is able to be fused by welding after integrally adjoining with the backing member by being inserted in the reinforcing plates formed on a left and a right. |
