An agricultural implement with a drawbar, left and right frames, and transport wheels. Each frame has sub-frames, each sub-frame supporting an axle with a roller, press, or discs. The sub-frames are pivotally connected to adjacent sub-frames such that in a working configuration each frame may flex by virtue of this pivoting such that the rollers etc. follow the contours of the ground. Each frame also has mechanisms to lock adjacent sub-frames together such that the rollers etc. all lie on a common horizontal plane. Each frame has at least one transport wheel at their distal ends. In the transport configuration, each frame is folded to the same direction parallel the axis of the drawbar. Also disclosed is a locking mechanism for two members which permits pivoting in a first position and forces the members to a predetermined rotational position relative to each other and locks them in a second position. |
