摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compound metal oxide catalyst capable of reducing volatilization of a molybdenum component which is one of catalyst components and suppressing generation of caulking, in the compound metal oxide catalyst used when obtaining a product by oxidizing reaction of mono-olefin, and to provide a production method of conjugated diene using it.SOLUTION: A compound metal oxide catalyst is used when performing the oxidizing reaction of mono-olefin and producing a corresponding product, and the compound metal oxide catalyst has a component composition expressed by a formula (1): MoBiCoNiFeXYZSiO; and the relative intensity of an X-ray diffraction peak defined by an expression (2): 0.1<R(=P/P)<0.8.
