An optical laminate film that comprises a layer B satisfying 1.0≦̸Nz≦̸3.0, 70 nm≦̸Re(550) and 0 nm≦̸Rth(550)≦̸200 nm, and a layer C satisfying Re(550)≦̸10 nm and −200 nm≦̸Rth(550)≦̸−50 nm, wherein the layer B and the layer C are adjacent to each other, the absolute value of the difference in SP between the main ingredient of the layer B and the main ingredient of the layer C is from 2.6 to 10.0, contribute toward improving the viewing angle characteristics of horizontal alignment mode liquid crystal display devices without causing problems of front contrast ratio reduction and display unevenness. |
