<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a diesel engine capable of increasing the amount of EGR gas without degrading fuel economy. <P>SOLUTION: This diesel engine 10 is formed into a structure including: a turbosupercharger 20 including a turbine 22 driven by exhaust gas and a compressor 21 driven by the turbine; a diesel particulate filter 43 arranged on the downstream side of the turbine; a first EGR passage 51 for introducing exhaust gas extracted from the upstream side of the diesel particulate filter into the upstream side of the compressor; a second EGR passage 52 for introducing exhaust gas extracted from the downstream side of the diesel particulate filter into the upstream side of the compressor; and changeover means 56-58 to changeover the first EGR passage to the second EGR passage and vice versa. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
