The present invention relates to an apparatus and a method for checking economics of a distributed photovoltaic power generation station. To this end, the apparatus for checking economics of a distributed photovoltaic power generation station comprises: a data input unit receiving data used for checking economics of the distributed photovoltaic power generation station; a prediction information generating unit generating information on predicted economics based on the data and history information in a database; and an economics checking unit checking feasibility of photovoltaic power generation businesses based on the information on predicted economics. The economics prediction information includes a price of a renewable energy supply certificate predicted by the prediction information generating unit, a system limitation price, an amount of solar photovoltaic power, and costs of an investment in a photovoltaic power generation station.
