<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for efficiently producing polyalkylene glycol, in which active species for producing polyalkylene glycol and/or raw materials of the active species, which may exert influence in being used as raw materials for polyurethane, are effectively removed and residues of them are few. <P>SOLUTION: The method for producing polyalkylene glycol includes at least a step (A) of preparing species for producing polyalkylene glycol using a phosphazenium salt containing an imino group and an active hydrogen compound, then carrying out polymerization reaction of alkylene oxide; and a step (B) of contacting polyalkylene glycol obtained in step (A) with a solid acid having an average particle size of 100 to 500 μm and a specific surface area of not less than 100 m<SP POS="POST">2</SP>/g and not more than 450 m<SP POS="POST">2</SP>/g, then separating the solid acid. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
