The assembling aid (M) has a connection unit for detachable fastening with an insulation board (10) and an attachment unit for another insulation board (11). The assembling aid has a longitudinal profile. The connection unit has a locating surface and two inserting blades. The locating surface is designed as a surface section. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a method for attaching of insulation boards on a substrate; and (2) a method for assembling of insulation boards.
