发明名称 Procédé pour l'amélioration des possibilités de traitement de matières granuleuses fines.
摘要 A process for improving and rendering uniform the surface properties of a powdered substance comprises mixing the substance with up to 20% by weight of an oil-in-water emulsion consisting of 1-20% oil, 1-20% binder, and from 60-98% water. Oils boiling within the range 100 DEG to 400 DEG C. are preferred, e.g. naphthenic, paraffinic, aromatic hydrocarbon, fuel, coal tar, anthracene, or linseed oils. The binder may be sulphite-pulp lye or powder, starch, dextrin, mastic, gum arabic, casein, glue, tragacanth, water - glass, methyl cellulose, molasses, potato starch, and ammonium lignosulphonate. Emulsifying agents may be added, e.g. soda, or potash soaps, fatty alcoholic sulphonates, alkyl sulphonates, alkyl naphthyl sulphonates, or ethanolamines. The mixing of the emulsion may be accelerated by heating to about 100 DEG C., or by aeration. In Example 2 iron ore dust is treated with 10% of an emulsion consisting of fuel oil, molasses, and water. In Example 3, flue dust, cement, and bentonite are treated with a fuel oil and starch aqueous emulsion and burnt at 1000 DEG C. to form a refractory brick.ALSO:A process for improving and rendering uniform the surface properties of a powdered substance comprises mixing the substance with up to 20% by weight of an oil-in-water emulsion consisting of 1-20% oil, 1-20% binder, and from 60-98% water.
