<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple rice cooker capable of detecting a water level and a water temperature inside a water tank. <P>SOLUTION: The rice cooker includes: a rice cooking pot 2 to which an object to be heated is to be supplied; a body 5 for freely detachably housing the rice cooking pot 2; a heating coil 10 for heating the rice cooking pot 2; a steam conduit 6 for guiding steam inside the rice cooking pot 2 generated during heating; a water tank 7 for condensing the steam guided by the steam conduit 6 to water by water accumulated inside; a monocular infrared ray sensor 8 for detecting infrared rays radiated from the water tank 7; a water level determination part 96 for determining the water level inside the water tank 7 on the basis of the output of the monocular infrared ray sensor 8; and a temperature determination part 95 for determining the water temperature inside the water tank 7 on the basis of the output of the monocular infrared ray sensor 8. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
