This fuel cell stack (FS) is equipped with: two or more cell modules (M) configured by stacking and integrating a plurality of fuel-cell single cells (C); and a sealing plate (P) interposed therebetween the cell modules (M). Therein, the sealing plate (P) is equipped with sealing members (52, 53) for sealing the interval between the cell-module (M) peripheral edge sections, the sealed-inside region between the cell modules (M) and the sealing plate (P) is provided with member-contact means (11, 12) for transmitting a load in the direction of stacking, and the load transmission in the direction of stacking is favorable. |
