The invention relates to a local network transformer, comprising: - a transformer winding on the side of the local network voltage, wherein an end region of the transformer winding has at least two first taps and the other end of the transformer winding is connected to a second output connection for the local network voltage; - a connecting line between each of the taps and a first output connection for the local network voltage, wherein a three-phase contactor is arranged in each of the connecting lines; - a second tap in the end region of the transformer winding, which is connected to the first output connection by means of a three-phase bypass contactor; and - a current-limiting element in series with the bypass contactor.
