摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem when simultaneously using an electric power generator (starter generator 40) as a means for providing initial rotation when starting an engine 10, wherein the startability or the like of an engine 10 is reduced because torque that can be generated by a starter generator 40 is small. <P>SOLUTION: A relay 48 selectively connects a positive electrode terminal of a battery 46 to either a positive electrode side input terminal of an inverter INV or a neutral point N of a starter generator 40. When starting an engine 10, the positive electrode of the battery 46 is connected to the neutral point N to boost an input voltage of the inverter INV so that a generatable torque is increased as compared with the torque when the input voltage of the inverter INV is a terminal voltage Vb of the battery 46.
