PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery which, by whirl-stopping an external terminal 4 with a whirl-stop member 10 separated from an external insulation sealing material 6 for sealing an auxiliary terminal 8, eliminates the possibility of the fastening torque of the external terminal 4 impairing airtightness or conductivity.SOLUTION: The battery is configured to comprise: an auxiliary terminal 8, in which a first caulking sleeve 8b penetrates through a terminal lead-out through-hole 3a of a cover plate 3 into the inside of a battery container 1, and is connected via a current-collection connector 5 to a metal foil 2a of an electrode of a power generation element 2, the auxiliary terminal 8 being sealed and fastened to the cover plate 3 via insulation sealing materials 6, 7; a connection conductor 9 being connected and fixed to a top of the auxiliary terminal 8 at one end and having a terminal through-hole 9b formed at the other end; an external terminal 4, in which a bolt part 4b projecting to above a pedestal part 4a penetrates the terminal through-hole 9b of the connection conductor 9 from below; and a whirl-stop member 10 fastened to the top of the cover plate 3 and used for limiting the whirling of the external terminal 4 by locking the pedestal part 4a of the external terminal 4. |
