The invention relates to a top case for a vehicle, in particular for a motorcycle or a motorcycle-like vehicle, comprising a bottom shell and a top shell, which is arranged in such a way that the top shell can be pivoted in relation to the bottom shell in order to open the top case. In a closed position the bottom shell and the top shell define a common interior for storing objects. The upper shell comprises an inner shell and an outer shell that surrounds the inner shell and the outer shell can be pivoted into a first open position independently of the inner shell. The invention further relates to a vehicle having a corresponding top case.
