<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus capable of providing a proper afterimage effect to a static image taken while a moving image is taken. <P>SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus takes an image of a subject and generates image data on the subject, thereby being capable of taking a moving image and taking a static image during taking the moving image including immediately after the completion of taking the moving image. The imaging apparatus comprises: an intra-moving-image special effect image processing unit which performs intra-moving-image special effect image processing for composing, by a predetermined ratio, plural pieces of image data taken before image data taken this time to the image data taken this time; and a control unit which switches the number of pieces of image data to be composed by the intra-moving-image special effect image processing unit, depending on whether the taken image data is a moving image or a static image. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
