PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To safely and easily recover a remaining high-boiling point organic solvent after trimethylsilyl chloride is reacted with an inorganic salt of hydrogen azide using a phase-transfer catalyst in the high-boiling point organic solvent to synthesize trimethylsilyl azide and the obtained trimethylsilyl azide is distilled.
SOLUTION: In the method for recovering a high-boiling point organic solvent, after trimethylsilyl chloride is reacted with an inorganic salt of hydrogen azide using a phase-transfer catalyst in the high-boiling point organic solvent to synthesize trimethylsilyl azide and the obtained trimethylsilyl azide is distilled, a remaining high-boiling point organic solvent is cleaned with an alkali aqueous solution and/or water; and thereafter hexamethyldisiloxane is removed.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
