<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine that naturally provides a player with the impression that a special game such as a jackpot game is executed when the player correctly answers a quiz, and a control method for the game machine, and a program. <P>SOLUTION: In the game machine 1 having a touch panel 17, a rendering control board 102 receives a control command from a main control board 101 and controls an image control board 105 to cause a liquid crystal display device 13 to display variation of symbols. During variable display of the symbols, a rendering image with a plurality of regularly arranged small images of numbers, like a bingo card, is displayed, and lottery rendering on the small images is performed.
