摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To change pressurization forces of electrode tips without deflecting a workpiece. <P>SOLUTION: A welding gun body 13 fixed on a robot arm 12 is movably provided with: a gun arm 15 provided with an electrode tip 14; and a gun arm 17 provided with an electrode tip 16. In addition, the welding gun body 13 is fixed with a sub-pressurization plate 18. Moreover, the welding gun body 13 is provided with servomotors 19 and 20 that drive the gun arms 15 and 17. In spot welding, the gun arms 15 and 17 are approached to nip the workpiece between the electrode tips 14 and 16. Subsequently, the welding gun body 13 is moved to push the sub-pressurization plate 18 to the workpiece surface. Here, the gun arms 15 and 17 relatively move to the welding gun body 13 so that the workpiece between the electrode tips 14 and 16 is not deflected.
