<p>The invention comprises a 3-amino-oestra-3, 5(10), 9(11)-triene having the structural formula: <FORM:0965577/C1/1> wherein R is hydrogen or an acyl radical, and R1 and R2 are both alkyl radicals, which may be the same or different each having 1 to 6 carbon atoms or together with the nitrogen atom represent a substituted or unsubstituted nitrogen-containing or nitrogen and oxygen-containing heterocyclic ring and processes for the preparation thereof by subjecting a 17b -hydroxy or 17b -acyloxy-oestra-4, 9(10)-dien-3-one or a D 8-3-methyl-7-keto-8-(g -ketobutyl) -3,4-[31-hydroxy or 31-acyloxy-(21, 11)-cyclopentano]-octahydro naphthalene is subjected to the action of a secondary amine so as to obtain the corresponding 3-amino compound. As secondary amine there may be employed pyrrolidine.</p> |
