<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lid body opening/closing structure of a keyboard instrument which has a simple and compact structure and facilitates the opening/closing operation of a lid body. <P>SOLUTION: A coupling mechanism 30 for coupling a side wall portion 6 of a case 10 and an end part of a lid body 20 opposite thereto, includes: a long plate-shaped coupling tool 31 journaled at a first pivotally-supporting portion 33 provided on the side wall portion 6 at one end 31a, and journaled at a second pivotally-supporting portion 35 provided on the end part of the lid body 30 at the other end 31b; and a slide mechanism 40 for making a rear end part 20a of the lid body 20 slide in a fore-and-aft direction of a body portion 2 when the lid body 20 moves between a close position and an open position.
