<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drive shaft for a rear wheel, which is light in weight, highly efficient and inexpensive. <P>SOLUTION: In the drive shaft 1 for a rear wheel, in which constant-velocity universal joints 3, 4 are attached to both ends of a hollow shaft 2, the outer diameter 5 and the thickness T of the hollow shaft 2 are each almost identical over the whole length in the axial direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
