<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a retainer structure in which inflation gas can be prevented from leaking from an inflator to the outside, the inflator formed in a tubular shape can be small-sized and further, a retainer for mounting the inflator to a vehicle can be configured lightweight. <P>SOLUTION: On a front end face of a front retainer 5, a flange 7a is formed which is bent inward. When an inflator 1 is inserted into the front retainer 5 after a tubular body 10 is inserted into the front retainer 5, a front end face 10a of the tubular body 10 is pushed by the inflator 1 and tightly contacted with the flange 7a. Then, a rear end face 10b of the tubular body 10 is tightly contacted to a terminal end face 3 at a front end side of the inflator 1. An inner diameter of the front retainer 5 at a rear end side is then reduced, thereby the inflator 1 is fixed to the front retainer 5. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
