This invention is provided with: a plurality of flat secondary cells in which power-generating elements obtained by stacking electrode plates and separators are sealed using exterior members; metal parts in contact, between the flat secondary cells, with at least a part of the side surfaces of the flat secondary cells oriented along the direction perpendicular to the stacking direction of the electrode plates and the separators, the metal parts having surfaces oriented along the side surfaces; air layers that cover the side surfaces between the flat secondary cells, with the metal parts disposed therebetween; and a fixing part for fixing the metal parts. The fixing part is a case that houses the flat secondary cells. |
