PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple-structured multi-directional input operation device with tactile feedback and a vehicle shift device using the multi-directional input operation device.SOLUTION: A multi-directional input operation device 101 comprises: an operation member 21 capable of performing a tilting motion in response to an operator's operation; a support body 22 for tiltably supporting the operation member 21; position detecting means 5S for detecting a plurality of positions where the operation member 21 is positioned; a plurality of movable-side magnetic bodies MM which perform the tilting motion together with the operation member 21; and a plurality of opposite-side magnetic bodies TM arranged opposite to the plurality of movable-side magnetic bodies MM. At least one of the movable-side magnetic body MM and the opposite-side magnetic body TM includes a permanent magnet EM4, and the position detecting means 5S comprises a magnetoelectric conversion element 15 for detecting the magnetism generated by the permanent magnet EM4 and a position determination unit 55 for determining at which position the operation member 21 is positioned on the basis of a detection signal from the magnetoelectric conversion element 15. The multi-directional input operation device 101 is preferably applied to a vehicle shift device. |
