<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve practicality of a component-mounting head for sucking and holding a component. <P>SOLUTION: The component-mounting head includes: (a) a suction nozzle 42 for sucking and holding a component P; (b) an air suction path 54 for sucking air from the tip of the suction nozzle 42; (c) swirl flow generation means 144 for generating a swirl flow swirling around the axis of the suction path 54 in the sucked air in a part of the suction path 54; and (d) dust collection means 148 and 160 for collecting dusts flung away by a centrifugal force, from the air swirled by the swirl flow generation means 144. According to the component-mounting head 10, dusts being flung toward the wall surface of the suction path 54 are easily collected by the dust collection means 148 and 160, and the dusts are surely removed from the air during suction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
