<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing device, when outputting print data in a grayscale image, capable of easily performing a grayscale conversion that is individually set according to an original color scheme setting, and to provide an image forming apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The image processing device includes analysis means for analyzing print data described in structured language and generating raster image data. The image processing device further includes: determination means that, on the basis of the acquired setting information, determines color setting for representing to the analysis means, which raster image data of color or grayscale are generated from the print data; and a substitution means that, when the determination means determines the color setting is the grayscale, substitutes color scheme setting of the print data for a grayscale color scheme setting that is previously set for the grayscale output, corresponding to the color scheme setting. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
