A gas separation composite membrane, comprising: a gas-permeable supporting layer; and a gas separating layer containing a crosslinked polyimide resin over the gas-permeable supporting layer, wherein the crosslinked polyimide resin has structure in which a polyimide compound is crosslinked and linked; wherein the polyimide compound is a copolymer having at least an imide group-containing monomer component and a monomer component having a group selected from a group of polar groups; wherein the group of polar groups include a group having a linking group containing —COO−N+(Ra)3—, —SO3−N+(Rb)3—, —PO3−N+(Rc)3—, —N+(X−)(Rd)2—, —PRf—, —NRgC(═O)—, alkyleneamino, aryleneamino, a divalent nitrogen-containing heterocyclic group, —S—, —SO2—, —S+(X−)(Rk)—, sulfonylamino, sulfonylamino carbonyl or ureylene; and a group having —N+(X−)(Rd)3, a halogen atom, or a monovalent nitrogen-containing heterocyclic group; and wherein Ra, Rb, Rc, Rd, Rk and Rg each independently represent a hydrogen atom or a substituent; a plurality of Ra, Rb, Rc, Rd and Rg may be identical or different, or may bond with each other to form a ring; X− represents halogen ion, N−(CN)2 ion, or N−(SO2Re)2 ion; and Re and Rf each independently represent an alkyl group, wherein the polyimide compound contains a repeating unit represented by Formula (I), at least one kind of repeating unit represented by Formula (II-a) or (II-b), and at least one kind of repeating unit represented by Formula (III-a) or (III-b): wherein R in Formula (I) is a group of atoms selected from the group consisting of the groups represented by any one of Formulas (I-a) to (I-g); wherein, in Formulas (I-a) to (I-g), X1 represents a single bond or a bivalent linking group; Y1 represents a methylene group or a vinylene group; R1 and R2 each independently represent a hydrogen atom or a substituent, or may bond with each other to form a ring; and the symbol “*” represents a binding site with the carbonyl group of the imide in Formula (I); wherein, in Formulas (II-a) and (II-b), R3 represents a substituent; 11 represents an integer of from 0 to 4; R4 and R5 each independently represent a substituent; R4 and R5 may bond with each other to form a ring; m1 and n1 each independently represent an integer of from 0 to 4; and X2 represents a single bond or a bivalent linking group; and wherein, in Formulas (III-a) and (III-b), R6, R7 and R8 each independently represent a substituent; R7 and R8 may bond with each other to form a ring; J1, J2 and W1 each independently represent a single bond or a bivalent linking group; 12, m2 and n2 each independently represent an integer of from 0 to 3; L1 represents a bivalent linking group; L2 represents a functional group; p represents an integer of 0 or more; when p is 2 or more, L1's and J2's may be the same or different from each other; and X3 represents a single bond or a bivalent linking group.
